Franklin continues to be recognized as a model school in the LBUSD district. Franklin's API scores have increased by leaps and bounds, receiving the attention of not only the Press Telegram, but the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.

GATE
Franklin's GATE program provides our high achieving students opportunities to excel beyond the normal classroom curriculum . Specialized activities, projects, and higher standards provide our GATE students the knowledge and challenges they require for high achievement.

Leading with Technology
Franklin is a Wifi school, providing internet access and the tools for students to study, research, and communicate effectively. Every 8th grader is issued an iPad for them to use at school and home for project creation, homework assignments, and much more.
