Music
The music department offers students an opportunity to learn a wind, percussion, or string instrument. The curriculum also includes a strong focus on reading and writing the language of music. Students perform throughout the year, and gain necessary life skills such as collaboration and responsibility as they work together. Advanced students use their music theory skills to write their own songs in the computer lab. All instruments are provided to the students for free.

Keyboarding skills are reinforced, and students learn to become power users of Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

As a hands-on class, students learn video capture and photography skills through various classroom projects.
